In 1993 The Russian Ice Stars Producer Vee Deplidge pioneered the concept of Theatre on Ice with productions designed to fit on theatre stages.

Following the success of The Russian Ice Stars's first production of the Sleeping Beauty on Ice, Vee's original vision has led the show to worldwide success, playing to sell out audiences in
Denmark, Cyprus, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Monte Carlo.

For many years The Russian Ice Stars have produced superb ice shows that have been praised for their excellence in the standard of skating and their artistic interpretation. The company has been touring constantly for 15 years and their dancers, who have been carefully selected, remain closely together forming part of a team that supports each other. The company travels with
its own ice machine thus eliminating any unnecessary delays in setting the rink up.

 

The skaters themselves are all Russian and former competitors at National, European, World and Olympic level. Known collectively as the Russian Ice Stars they are regarded by many as the finest company of professional skaters in the world.

The Russian Ice Stars has established strong links with the Russian Circus so as well as the finest skaters in the world the productions include circus performers able to create specialist aerial effects. This has delighted audiences, leading to frequent standing ovations and adds an exciting dimension to performances by the Russian Ice Stars.
